At Lakewood Ranch and Family Dentistry we strive to provide comprehensive and gentle dental care for you and your family in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. We are able to do this with the efforts of our dentists, Dr. Michelle Scala.

Dr. Michelle Scala, DMD 

Dr. Michelle Scala, a native Floridian and honors graduate from the University of Miami, earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Biochemistry, 1995. Finding her passion for dentistry, she achieved her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Florida College of Dentistry, 1999.  Refining her prestigious education, Dr. Scala now provides dental excellence for her patients through advanced techniques in: Dental Implants, Invisalign, Sedation, Cosmetic and Reconstructive Dentistry.

Dr. Scala is has two children, enjoys jogging and has completed three marathons. Gifted in the art of dentistry she believes “a beautiful smile is more than teeth deep”.  “Happiness emanating from patients regaining a healthy smile that completes every dental make-over”. Devoted to patient care and comfort, Dr Scala’s  kind and gentle nature is the key to her dental excellence.

Meet Dr. Jensen Bouton 

Dr. Bouton is a native Floridian and grew up in Orlando, Florida. She attended the University of Florida for her bachelors degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition.

She obtained a masters degree from the University of South Florida in Biomedical Sciences. With her masters, she worked in research for a year studying type 2 diabetes.

She then went on to be a double Gator and got her Doctorate from the University of Florida in Dental Medicine.

Dr. Bouton understands that each person needs their own tailored treatment plan. She likes to spend time getting to know her patients and see what their needs are.

She likes to make her work a collaborative effort, listening to all of your concerns and finding the best treatment for you. She loves to spend time making an anxious patient

feel comfortable with their dental treatment so they can have a great experience.

Dr. Bouton is a lifelong learner. She has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education to further advance her skill set and stay up to date with new technology. She has a passion for

cosmetic dentistry as well as all general dentistry. She loves making her patients happy!

Dr. Bouton is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry.

When shes not working Dr. Bouton enjoys spending time with her husband Spencer and her son Bexton. She enjoys traveling, music and cooking.

Meet Dr. Brandy Rubinski 

Dr. Brandy Rubinski was born and raised in sunny South Florida.  She completed her bachelor's degree at the University of Central Florida, followed by her master's degree in Biomedical Sciences.After graduating from Nova Southeastern University with her Doctorate in Dental Medicine, she moved with her husband to Los Angeles, CA where she completed post-doctoral training at the prestigious Cedars-Sinai Medical Center General Practice Residency program. This year-long training program focused on cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery and implants. Dr. Rubinski practiced for 4 years in the L.A. area before returning to South Florida with her husband and toddler son. 

Dr. Rubinski strives to stay on the cutting edge of aesthetic and restorative dentistry through constant continuing education courses. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, American Academy Cosmetic Dentistry, Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and is an Invisalign provider.

Dr. Rubinski enjoys raising her 3 wonderful children Hudson, Bennett, and Brooklyn with her husband, Dustin. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching college football (Go Noles!), and going to the beach.
